Oops, we crashed...

I was going really fast for a while there, but I finally crashed. ^^;

Well, I'm back with another update! Ageless has at last been put to rest, and in two chapters, A Miko's Secret Heart, the last of my reposts, will be following suit! So here's the question, Beyblade fans: Cat-O-Ninetailes is a story that I previously wrote and posted, but haven't reposted yet since my account was hijacked. Should I repost it, too? XP You decide!

Also, because I've been forgetting: I have updated a lot on my DeviantArt account! My devart account uses one of my old pennames, KyuubiTenshi, so that's why it might be harder to find. But honestly? I think my writing skills are still far above my art skills. ^~;

At any rate, there's one last thing I'm gonna answer: Carnival Ride is just starting to get back into gear again. I'd assume I'm about.... 2/3rds of the way through the second chapter. I want to at least finish chapter 6 before posting. Bare minimum. But don't worry; just be patient. Carnival Ride is a piece that I can easily get inspired for, since I don't have to watch "episodes" of the anime, just listen to the theme music. =^^=

And this has been your (not so) quickie update~! <3

Yup, that means I'm still rollin'!

Updates on reposts for A Miko's Secret Heart and Ageless are now up, but even better, Rainbow Fading is finished posting! At 19 chapters, Rainbow Fading has finished its run; I hope everyone enjoyed the story! I'll try and do better the next time I write Beyblade. ^~;

And here's more news: tonight, at 9 PM, I will be posting the FINAL CHAPTER of Soul-Mirror! Be the first to review it and you'll get a cookie. And maybe a oneshot dedicated to you. XP It's been a long time, but Soul-Mirror made a comeback and then finished in ONE WEEK. I know, it pissed me off, too, that I took so long to figure out what I was doing. >.>;

So here's the deal, peeps: I HAVE A BOOK I NEED TO WORK ON. So Carnival Ride is probably the only new thing I'll be posting on for a while, unless some inspiration comes out of left field. And after Carnival Ride I'll either wok on Play On exclusively, or split time with Clay Penance over it. Because, let's face it: I need to kill off the things I'm already posting. That's why I forced out Soul-Mirror's ending so quickly. Well, if I sacrificed quality, you're welcome to break out the tar and feathers. Somehow, though, the ending just... happened. Like, all on its own. I DIDN'T DO IT. Okay, I did, but it really just kinda kidnapped me and took me along for the ride.

At any rate, please enjoy, and don't forget to review!

Eheh, yeah, I'm sure everyone knows that old song. XP Anywho, reposts have been updated again; look to previous entries for links!

I'm going to try and finish Soul-Mirror either today or tomorrow; look forward to it. Also, last note on this really quick update: the first chapter of Carnival Ride has been completed! There's only 13 chapters total, so I'm not going to post it before I reach chapter 6-7, but don't worry; I listen to practically nothing but Carrie Underwood these days, so it should get up pretty fast. ^^ After I finish Carnival Ride, though, I plan on trying to finish Clay Penance; since I've already got it up, I should really work on it. ^~; BUT! This has been your quickie update. ^^

And still Rolling~ <3

Well, new chapters have again been posted for all reposts; please see previous journal entries for links!  But there is one that I will post here: Son of a Miko has finished reposting!  I forgot that it was only 18 chapters, so some of you may have thought it was longer.  Don't worry, so did I.  XP

One other note: Soul-Mirror is almost complete!  I'd estimate I'm about 1/4th of the way through the last chapter, 15.  Don't worry, I haven't hit any writer's block.  It would've been finished last night, but I couldn't concentrate.  And then I got involved in a Hanasakeru Seishounen marathon.  T_T;  My apologies for that.  At any rate, I'll probably finish writing Soul-Mirror before the week is out, so don't worry!  Please look forward to the final two chapters!

Well, that's really all I had to say.  XP  It's been a while since I've done such a short post, but hey!  Things have been happening!  ^^  My desktop computer is going schizo right now, though, so Sweets is on hold.  It's the only document that was on that computer, of course.  I hope no one is too disappointed!  Laters~

REALLY on a Roll~ <3

harukanaru
I am absolutely on a roll~  All reposts have been updated again; the following are the links to the new chapters:

Ageless
     Rainbow Fading
          Son of a Miko
               A Miko's Secret Heart

And on top of that, Soul-Mirror has also been updated!  Doesn't this make it less than a week?  O.o;  Amazing!  And on top of that, Misty Sunsets is also somewhat back in the game, with the 13th chapter now up after its extreeemly long hiatus!

And here's the bad news: I have another story idea.  T_T;  Yeah, we know my habit is seriously deplorable, but it's been bugging me!  I turned Carrie Underwood's album Carnival Ride into a challenge fic, but I kept thinking "But I can't do that to Play On."  And it bugged me that I couldn't.  And bugged me, and bugged me, and bugged me.  So finally, this morning I gave in with a "Dadgummit, fine!  I'll try!"

And, amazingly enough, I did it again.  So I have now designed two stories for my album challenge.  8]

Also in the Naruto category, Play On is a DeiSaku fiction that, like its predecessor, will be a total of 13 chapters long.  Sadly, it will be an AU.  Happily, it is actually rather promising.  See if you can predict the order of the chapters; if you do, I'll dedicate the whole story to you.  XP

And that's it for my update!  You now know that I'm being both very bad and very good, so we'll call it even, mmkay?  Enjoy!

On a roll~ <3

harukanaru
Okay peeps, now I'm on a roll.  All reposting stories have been updated AGAIN; please see the previous two journal entries for links.  Also (and what's really important) is that I have finished ANOTHER chapter on Soul-Mirror!  Here's the bad news: Only one chapter to go before it's DONE!  I've decided that Soul-Mirror will have its cut off point at chapter 15; sorry for all the fans out there.

There are lots of stories in the works right now, but I'm going to attempt and focus on them one at a time now.  Phantom: Stories of a Lady Thief is the book I'm working towards publishing in early 2010, so naturally it will take precedence.  But I'm not going to abandon my fanfictions, don't worry.  I have too much fun with them, and they're somewhat easier to keep up with.  ^^

As it stands, I'm working on two Inuyasha stories when I'm given to the urge.  Pulling Strings and Still Here are both Sesshoumaru/Kagome fanfics, but with very different takes and perceptions on their relationship.  Pulling Strings is set much further into the past, with Kagome being thrown back in history to the day of Inuyasha's birth.  Just the opposite, Still Here is set in the future; an AR (alternate reality) which stipulates that after returning home, the Well did not let Kagome back through to the past, but she instead becomes a beat cop in her own time; ten years post-canon, is the time frame, to be precise.  If you have a preference for which you're most eager to read, I'd love to hear your opinions.

In the Naruto category, activity is slow since Kishimoto is no longer inspirational.  T_T  But I've been working on the stories I've already posted, as attested to by the near-completion of Soul-Mirror.  Clay Penance still hasn't inched lately, but my new story Carnival Ride will probably see its first chapter finished today.  I'll finish writing the whole story before I post it, so you won't have to fret over my bad habit of infrequent updates.  ^~  Also, I would like to cross my fingers and see if I can work on Crash World II: Broken Wings in the near future, after finishing the more current obligations.  For those who've been with me a while, you'll remember that Crash World was a short Kakashi/Sakura story that I finished a couple of years ago.  I had a sequel in mind nearly from the beginning, but now I'm going to try and work on it.  Well, soonish/eventually.

And in the random/miscellany category, Sweets is still in progress.  The first one is finished, and three others in progress.  Well, it's on the ooooother computer, which means I have to work on it on the computer with more distractions until I move it.  ^~  So... yeah, it's on pause for the moment.  And on a last note, a story I started about this time last year for the series Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro is about to see some progress, I think.  It's called Almost-Love; not very surprisingly, it's a Neuro/Yako.  I'm also fond of Sasazuka/Yako and Higuchi/Yako... but yeah.  Neuro/Yako is still the best.  When I'm closer to posting it, I'll post a summary on the Map Writers profile (and here too, probably.)

At any rate.... This was more of an "Up to Speed on the Cog Works" sort of thing.  Ah well.  This has been the up-n-comin' issue of Map Writers~!  Have a blessed day!

... Wow. Just a little.

I'm back really fast this time~!  All reposting stories have again been updated:

Ageless: Beyblade, KaiOC/a whole list of others~
Rainbow Fading: Beyblade, ReiOC
Son of a Miko: Inuyasha, InuKag/SessAyaKoga
A Miko's Secret Heart: Inuyasha, InuKag/host of others

Teehee.  Also, GUESS WHAT.  OMG, after being on hiatus for over a year, Soul-Mirror has finally made a comeback!  It took me a long time, but I finally overcame the stalemate I was experiencing with this story!  Hopefully, this means you'll see more consistent updates, but you're going to have to do some serious reviewing to accomplish that!

In one last bit of news...  I've started a new Naruto story,  believe it or not.  Don't get angry yet!  *hides*  It's very short!  The entire story will only be 13 chapters- It's another "challenge" I've created.  ^^  Carnival Ride will be an ItaSaku story, with each of the chapters based on a song from Carrie Underwood's album by the same name.  Please buy her album and listen to these amazing songs; you won't be disappointed at all!  But that's all I'm telling you about it.  ^^

Anywho, enjoy people!  I'll update again soon!

REPOSTS~!

  • Nov. 6th, 2009 at 2:29 PM
harukanaru
Okay, so we all know that, a year and a half/ two years ago, someone hacked my account on Fanfiction.net, right?  And I was reposting ALL THOSE STORIES they deleted, right?  Well, after having procrastinated until the cows nearly made it home (I hear them right up the road, seriously), I have FINALLY resumed my reposting!  My goal is to repost ALL of these stories ALL THE WAY by the end of November, so don't forget to cheer me on!  The following stories have had a repost update:

Beyblade:

     Ageless: KaiOC
     Rainbow Fading: ReiOC

Inuyasha:

A Miko's Secret Heart: InuKag, SanMir, SessOC, GinOC
Son of a Miko: InuKag, SanMir, SessAyaKoga

And, miracle of miracles, The Siren has finished reposting already!  At this point I probably won't ever get the sequel written, so don't hold your breath...  but I do give you permission to cross a pair of toes or something.  ^^;  Well, this is all the update for now.  I AM studying for an SAT tomorrow... sort of.  And I'm writing a book.  But I will try and fix my habit of leaving you forgotten and hanging for so long.  -_-;  As it stands, I'm going to try and post some new stuff sometime tonight or tomorrow, depending on what happens.  Have fun!

La Corda~!

  • Oct. 29th, 2009 at 2:31 PM
harukanaru
Okay, someone start playing Valse du Petit Chien, because I totally just updated Expressions! Questioning Expression is Shimizu Keiichi's installment, and the final oneshot in the series, unless ya'll say otherwise.  So Expressions has finally been put to bed!  Wow.  It's been like... an age since I finished a chapter story... (Well, it's not really a chapter story, since they're all individual oneshots but... yeah.  Who cares.)

At any rate!  This post is mainly telling you about up-coming attractions!

Continuing the topic of La Corda D'Oro, I will soon be posting a self-made challenge!  In Sweets, the stories will each have a theme color and sweet!  The following colors and sweets are the challenge, for anyone who would like to try the same thing:

1. Orange- Sherbet
2. Green- Watermelon
3. Aqua- Water
4. Purple- Plum Pudding
5. Blue- Icing
6. Gold- Golden Apple
7. Violet- Lavender Tea
8. White- Divinity
9. Maroon- Raspberry Tart
10. Red- Chocolate

Try and see if you can guess which posts are which characters.  XP  It's really not that hard, though it DID take me a while debating a few of their colors.  Gold was almost red, and red was almost black... it was quite a mess.  But anyway!  Look forward to Sweets, which I will finish and post within a month or so!

In other news, Inuyasha (despite being something I haven't really watched lately), has been revived!  Pulling Strings, which got stuck on the tail end of the second chapter for a while, is now making its way through the third chatper quite well.  I won't post it until I'm at LEAST half-way done with it, so be sure and pester me over it so I can get it done!  Also, a story I haven't really promoted before is in the works: Still Here is another SessKag fic.  It'll be an AR- alternate reality- in which the well does not let Kagome back through after graduating high school.  She graduates college, police academy and whatnot, and ends up as a beat cop, until an unusual murder scene tells her that demons aren't just a thing of the past.  At any rate, please keep an eye out for the new stuffs!

Don't forget to review~!  <3

...  Umm, to be totally honest?  At this point it would be my sister.  And I'd give her one of those eco-friendly houses on about 20 acres.  All paid for.   Because she's seriously stressing over their bills right now, and frankly, the neighborhood they live in sucks.  ^~;  Don't worry; they think so, too.  ANYWHO!  Yeah, that's what I'd do.

Well, things have certainly been happening.  XP

Two "perfect" drabbles have been posted to the Map Writers' account!  By definition, a "perfect" drabble is one that is exactly 100 words.  Thus, these are perfect.  I counted.  Or rather, the program counted.

Liar is my first Sesshoumaru/Kagura, and if I have my way about it, it will be my last.  I find the two extremely incompatible, even if Belle loves them together.  >.>  The title pretty much explains it; Kagura is a liar.  Sesshoumaru hates liars.  So how'd he get stuck with her?  The second update is Rakuen; it's back to my beloved SessKag stint.  PWP warning; it was made fluffy-sweet to order, while I was trying to get the bad taste of Liar out of my mouth.  Who else is glad that Inuyasha is back on the air?

Next is an update in status!  Phantom: Stories of a Lady Thief was going to be published by Christmas.  Needless to say, we've changed our goals a bit.  We're aiming for my birthday: February 1st of 2010~!  So keep an eye out!  For those of you that live in Cartersville, GA, come to The Fruit Jar Cafe off Spur 20; I work there, and when the book comes out, I plan on having a drawing for a copy and a plush dragon made in Seabane's image!  The preview will be available on the Xlibris website soon; I'll let you know when!

After that, there's one more thing;  I'm working on another major Inuyasha story!  The last one I posted was Son of a Miko, and it was finished almost (if not more than) three years ago.  But now, I'm working on a story for SessKag lovers that will, hopefully, be as epic as something you'd see from RosieB, the queen of SessKag novels!  Pulling Strings is sure to be a treat for all Kagome lovers; much tragedy, much adventure, much love and in surprising forms!  Summary now up on the Map Writers' profile!

And that's... pretty much it, I suppose.  I'll be updating my deviantart page here in the next few days, I believe, but until then, I leave you with this update~! <3

Okay, peeps. IT'S FINALLY HAPPENED.

What has happened, you ask?  I'M GETTING PUBLISHED.  At least, so says XLibris, which I just signed up with.  ^^

The first project from Map Writers, Phantom: Stories of a Lady Thief, is going to be a short chapter book aimed at the early teens, set in a beautiful medieval England background.  *hearts her story*  And every time I let someone read it, I get rave reviews.  Who knows why.  Guess you'll find out when (if) you buy it.  *grins*  I'll let you know when more news finds it's way here!

Have fun, and look out for the first book: Phantom: Stories of a Lady Thief, by Ren Kajitaka!

OMG, yes I would.  Because I don't like to exercise, really, and I would rather spend my time a MILLION (almost literally) other ways.  Like... working on a story.  Or practicing my cello.  Seriously.

Hinoe, Harukanaru Toki no Nakade, Kurenai no Tsuki
Okay, another new update from Chizu-tan!  It's just a small one though.  I'm supposed to be working on a paper that's due tomorrow, and we're still trying to see if I can manage to get into college this fall semester, but hey, it's all good.  So, TWO STORIES!

First up, in a previously established category, we have Smile for the Camera- a drabble sequel to The Brother of the Bird.  A really quick Ryuuji x Tsukasa thing for wedding day fun.  Enjoyness!

And my other update is for, yet again, another new category.  This oneshot is for the manga V. B. Rose by Hidaka Banri.  Ageha's a hoot, and I can't wait for volume 6 to come out this October.  It's overdue by nearly a WHOLE YEAR.  Anywho, Paper Roses was originally supposed to be a oneshot for extra credit in government class, but I didn't get it done in time.  So here it is, just to be there.  PWP warning; sorry.  But hey, it's got a little Yukari x Ageha fluff!  You can't beat that!  (unless we're talking lime or lemon...)

Anywho, those're my updates.  Please R&R and lemme know what you think! <3

SUMMER RULES.

  • Jun. 23rd, 2009 at 8:49 PM
harukanaru

OMG I can hardly remember what it feels like to have a summer!  8>.<8  Here's two updates for your reading pleasure, and a notice for ANOTHER something new~! <3

First off, in the ever-so-popular Naruto category, we have Aiaigasa, an ItaSaku oneshot!  Sharing an umbrella with a super-smexy guy is supposed to be really romantic, right?  So why is Sakura stuck sharing it with an S-class criminal?!  (Answer: Because it amuses me, that's why.  >D )

And second, WHEE~!  It's another new Tokyo Crazy Paradise!  Welcome Waiting for the Ringtone to my list of TCP accomplishments.  A Kai/Asago story, for those who love~  It's Christmas Eve, a night for lovers, and Kai is on GRAVE's night-shift.  And she's still waiting for him to give her a damn phone-call.  For those of you who love humor, Sumire is here to liven things up~!

And now for my big announcement: I'm officially working on an ORIGINAL STORY.  Yes, you may all die lightly now.  Inspired by Inuyasha episode 161. Monk Miroku's Past Mistake.  The story is told from the perspective of a village headman's son as he witnesses a story unfold after the death of his sister-in-law and his childhood friend's fiancee.  A demon sealed for generations demands that the girl become his bride, and while trying to save her, the young man makes some startling discoveries.  Believe it or not, I'm actually writing a suspense/mystery thing!  And yeah, of course there's romance too, but hey, that's normal~  Anywho, I'll be sure and let you know when I finally get the first chapter up, so look for ward to it- Shi'en Valley.

And Fairytale Soup's first chapter is up!  Has been for a while, actually, but that's okay.  XP  I'll be sure and post the second chapter soon; I've already got a couple pages written on it~ <3  Enjoy all!

YAY! Memorial Day Weekend~

harukanaru

Okay, it's a holiday~!  Which accounts for how I've finally managed to post something new.  XP  Anywhosit, this is Chizu again with a couple of new stories for you!

In an update, the sequel to The Fish that Loved the Bird is now up!  For those of you who like Tokyo Crazy Paradise, and the quirky half-brother/half-sister relationship between Shiki and Tsukasa, my original story The Fish that Loved the Bird brought you a little session where Shiki has to finally face up to being Tsu-bo's brother.  Here in it's sequel The Brother of the Bird, Shiki has been forced to attend his little sis's wedding; and when it's mostly yakuza in the crowd, don't you just know something's going to go wrong?  Enjoy it~

And for those of you who might've known me a laaaaaawng time ago, I'm back in the Inuyasha category!  Meant to Be is another SessKag oneshot for those who love it- with a first-hand account from Kagome on how others percieved her relationship with Inuyasha... and how they now perceive it with the stoic Sesshoumaru.  Actually kinda funny, so I hope you like it!

In other news~  I've posted new AMVs on my youtube account, if you'd like to watch!

Miracle Mini-V- Skip Beat!, Kyoko/Sho, can be seen as both pro and anti, believe it or not~
Rumors- Kaikan Phrase, Sakuya/Aine, I hate Lilo anymore, but hey, I started it, so...  >.>;
Graduation Video- Me!  Because at my graduation we had to put together a video to play, so... this happened.  XP

Anywhosit all, enjoyness!

Haruka and More, Comin' Your Way~!

harukanaru

Wow, it's been a while!  (... meepish, I graduate in five weeks.  >.<8 )  This is Chizu-chan, back with an update!

Actually, over the course, I've posted several new pieces.  Yes, you may skewer me for not updating on my chapter stories again.  But the variety should be considered especially sumptuous!

Harukanaru Toki no Nakade: Hachiyou no Nozomi  has been given life!  This series of seven stories that I've been mulling over in my mind have finally taken shape, and the first two to make their appearance on the scene are Shinjirumono: Takamichi and Kurenai, and Thicker than Water: Eisen and Arisa.  The series' prologue and the summaries for each of the seven stories can be found on the Map Writers' Profile.

In other news!  Yes, there's more.  My thoughts have run the gamut thoroughly this time, and now bring you a range of oneshots, also to be found on the Map Writers' profile!

A return to the Naruto series brings back familiar (in some cases unwelcome) memories of when half the population believed that SasuSaku was canon.  Because, in the back of my mind, it still is.  The piece Sea of Faces  will explore a scenario where Sasuke has successfully destroyed Konoha, but left himself one proof of the man he used to be in the form of an enemy that will never come any closer than a gaze from the distance.  On the other spectrum, those who still remain loyal to the SasuSaku fandom will enjoy Bless the Broken Road, which gives us a look at a future where Sasuke was forgiven, and brought back to a home that has changed, but still holds him dear.  For those that are a little tired of the sweet-bitter torture of romance, What the Children See will offer a feeling of nostalgia, mixed with tears for despair, and brought to light with a sense of renewed hope in the future.

And finally, the newest pieces!  For those of you who love Hoshino Katsura's manga/anime series D. Gray-man, we bring you a new oneshot- Run to You.  Surprisingly, the fandom for Bak/Fou seems to be unnervingly quiet, though I'm sure there must be more than a few of you; please enjoy this piece of nostalgia torn between foreboding and humor.    And the last little bit of news is this- another new fandom has been added to the Map Writers' list of accomplishments!  Long Good-byes is a Kyou Kara Maou story centering around Yuuri and Wolfram; a bittersweet feeling that will allow you to understand the unease that comes with a relationship that remained onesided for far too long, but also shows what lengths that hard-won lover will go to to make sure that his sweetheart knows how much he really does return his feelings.

Well, there's my update!  (wow, it was LAWNG this time...  XD)  In the near future, the Map Writers will be posting a new project which will appear both in fanfiction and in original formats- Fairytale Soup.  Based as a Princess Tutu fanfiction, it will take each chapter and receive a namesake and theme in the form of an old, classic fairytale.  I pray that I will make Master Hans Anderson proud.  =^^=

Please watch, rate and comment on the first promotional Mini-V for Fairytale Soup!  Thanks!

Lit: Naruto is Revived!

And not the manga, honestly.  I still can't believe Kishimoto has mangled it so badly.  >.>  But there is one thing that's revived~!  Chizu-chan brings you the Map Writers' work Clay Penance~  <3

Yes, it's finally been revived~.

Clay Penance is another look at a Deidara/Sakura story that may be something different for a small fandom.  Rather than incorporating the already ragged plot where Sakura joins the Akatsuki, this rather has Deidara betraying the Akatsuki in return for becoming an official Konohagakure shinobi.  Of course, you may ask the same thing Deidara asked Sakura: "What are you thinking?"

I will say the same thing Sakura did.  "I'm not thinking.  I'm being a total and complete idiot, and hoping it doesn't get me killed."

So please enjoy the sixth chapter of Clay Penance: Childish.
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3533282/6/Clay_Penance

Note: If you haven't read this story previously, please simply copy and paste the link to your browser and replace the chapter number 6 with a number 1 before proceeding.  I look forward to your reviews~!  <3
